By establishing what rooms you spend a quality of your time using, you know these rooms are important, and needs to be finished first. Even if your budget allows a complete home makeover, not all rooms can be done at once.
If you don't focus on that one area first, second and third, you will become very overwhelmed by all things you need to accomplish. Why do that to yourself? Break it down, ease the stress, and get it done!
Work with your lifestyle and concentrate on the important rooms, all the while keeping an overall eye on the whole house. If, for example, you see a bed ensemble that would work for your master bedroom, sure purchase it. However don't switch focus to that room when you are almost finished with the room you are currently on.
Find your style and the rest will fall into place.
