What Makes A Happy Home?

Could It Be CHI?
No, not your daily tea fix ~ rather this chi is the life energy that flows through our bodies and surroundings. It is the strongest when we are at peace with our physical environment.
The ancient Chinese art of feng shui teaches us how to find that harmony, and is most significant in our homes.
  1. Free The Flow ~ open pathways by moving or removing furniture. Maximize the walking and living space. This will allow chi to flow smoothly between rooms.
  2. Let Nature In ~ natural light and clean air are both chi - challenging essentials. Open the windows, bring plants in to give your home warmth and purity.
  3. Color Coordinate ~ choose artwork you love and decorate the room with similar colors. This will create a balance. Just remember . . . the softer the color, the more relaxed one feels.
  4. Unclutter Your Life ~ By getting rid of things you no longer need or use helps to free your mind and provide a zen-like vibe to your space. Hint: Haven't used in a year? Toss it!

And finally ~ the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are directly connected to your health. Have the bed in the center of the room, place fresh flowers in the kitchen, and supply lots of mirrors in the bathroom. All may help you to stay out of the doctor's office.
